Getting Championship-Ready at Railway Taree
A big thank you to everyone who rolled up their sleeves and got stuck in at today’s working bee at Railway Taree. With the NSW State Bowls Championships on the horizon, preparations are well underway to ensure the club is looking its absolute best for players and visitors coming from across the state.
It was a fantastic effort from all involved. Seeing so many members and volunteers come together to get the greens championship-ready is a true reflection of the community spirit that makes Railway Taree such a special place.
Community Spirit in Action
Events like the NSW State Bowls Championships bring a spotlight to our club, and it takes a dedicated team of people working behind the scenes to make sure everything is presented to the highest standard. From the greens to the surrounds, every detail matters when hosting a prestigious state-level competition.
Today’s working bee is a reminder of just how much our members care about this club and the sport of bowls. That kind of collective pride and effort doesn’t go unnoticed – it sets the tone for a welcoming and well-presented venue that competitors and visitors will remember long after the championships are done.
We’re incredibly proud of our volunteers and everyone who gave up their time to contribute. The greens are shaping up beautifully, and we can’t wait to welcome bowlers from across NSW to Railway Taree for what promises to be an exciting championship event.
